Local startups need some water and fertilizer to grow

There are literally Billions in our local retirement accounts that “appear” here but in reality are working far far away, and in some ways, enticing our own children to move to where the money is and who is to blame them, as we are the ones that have invested elsewhere.

There is an opportunity to refocus a portion of the long term investment money owned within our communities into local efforts instead of huge mutual funds that are putting it into the large corporates all located elsewhere. If we expect our local efforts to grow they need some water and fertilizer just like the large corporates.
